REAL WEDDING:: KATE GEER + JEREMY MILLER

THEIR STORY IN KATE’S WORDS:

“He took me to Christmas in the Oaks at City Park to propose and the lights were all out because it was Christmas Eve. I laughed because it was so dark; it seemed so different and quiet. He drove through the whole park trying to find a light display that was on…. *I didn’t know his plan and I said let’s go tomorrow. He ended up proposing once we got home when I was on the couch with a blanket. He even carved me a ring box out of oak and it is shaped like a flower. As you turn the box open the petals move out and it looks like a sun. He is very creative and I am very blessed.”

Kate provided her bridesmaids a teal and blue paint chip color palette and allowed them to each select their own gowns. “It blended great!” she shares of the resulting looks.

“The first look was very special and it was nice to have a private moment with Jeremy,” shares Kate. “It took me a good 10 minutes to reach him because I had to stop to cry tears of joy and excitement. It was a very magical moment.”

Kate and Jeremy’s dogs joined in the ceremony, walking down the aisle with the bridesmaids and posing for photos with the couple afterwards.

“We did a laying on of hands at the end of the ceremony,” shares Kate. “It’s a special prayer with everyone showing support by connecting hands on shoulders. All of our friends and family were there and it had us feeling so supported and special.”
