REAL WEDDING: RYAN + JORDAN {Love in Lake Charles}

Jordan was ready to walk down the aisle. She just needed her boyfriend, Ryan, to ask first. Luckily, after a few not-so-subtle hints, Ryan was ready to prove to Jordan that all he wanted forever was her.

After months of planning the perfect proposal, Ryan chose the day after Jordan’s sister wedding, where incidentally, Jordan caught the bouquet, to ask her to be his wife. Expecting a girls night out, Jordan met with her friends at the Omni Royal Orleans Hotel. What she didn’t expect was for Ryan to be standing at the top of the stairs with a bouquet of roses in his hand surrounded by their friends and family.

“I looked around at my friends and asked, ‘Why is Ryan here?’. When we got to the bottom of the staircase I saw that all of our family members were crowded behind Ryan to witness the proposal. I kept asking my friends ‘Is this really happening?'”

it was no surprise when Jordan said yes.

Jordan really created a wedding that celebrated their love for each other and the love they had for their family. Ryan, who was very close with his late grandmother, was able to incorporate her presence when his mother gave Jordan his grandmother’s tennis bracelet to honor her memory.

The couple also chose to have a first look to give themselves a moment to really appreciate each other during their special day.

“Getting to meet up in private with just our photographer and videographer before the ceremony was so special to me,” Jordan said. “We were able to take photos together and not be rushed. It was an incredible moment to be able to see each other right before we said yes to forever together.”

Bound by love, Jordan and Ryan paved the way to their happily ever after.
