Timothy proposed to Kimmy after three months of planning.  As Kimmy’s friends were in town for Thanksgiving, she didn’t think anything of their plans to go out to dinner.  Kimmy says, “I thought we were just going out for dinner at Chophouse right next to the New Orleans Board of Trade.”  As she walked into the courtyard, Kimmy saw carpets of rose petals and flickering candles everywhere.  There were people standing around and a

photo crew by the fountain, making Kimmy think that a movie was being filmed. “Before I knew it, the cameras starting coming at me,” shares Kimmy.

“I finally noticed Tim standing by the fountain, and it hit me…he had invited all of our close friends and family to the Board of Trade to witness and celebrate the proposal…all were cheering and clapping…it was the most surreal and magical set up I’ve ever seen.”  As Kimmy walked up to Timothy, he got down on one knee to propose. Kimmy, of course, said “Yes.”

Wedding plans began and the couple chose to wed at St. Mary’s Assumption Church, with a reception to follow at Crystal Palace.

On Kimmy and Timothy’s wedding day, Kimmy walked down the aisle as her sister played a sweet and beautiful melody, the piano version of “Flightless Bird, American Mouth”, from the movie Twilight, one of Kimmy’s favorite series.

The couple wanted a very romantic wedding, full of flowers and candlelight. They chose blush and gold with hints of black for a little dramatic feel and left the rest up to their wedding planners. Kimmy, a fan of sweets, says, “The only thing I did request was an all out dessert bar!”

As they stepped into the reception, they were nothing short of amazed. “Our mouths just dropped,” says Kimmy. “It was the most gorgeous reception we had ever laid our eyes on!  We were ecstatic!”

Kimmy and Timothy’s vision had come to life for their big day. They danced to Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” and spent the evening celebrating with friends and family.

The Newlyweds were then off to a romantic destination honeymoon spanning Europe, visiting Paris, Rome and Greece.
