REAL WEDDING :: BRIAN + EDWARD {BLACK + SILVER MASQUERADE}

Brian and Edward met through an online dating service which led to a blind date in 2009. Six years later, Ed proposed with the help of Dolly, the couple’s Maltese. Dolly and Ed brought Brian breakfast in bed and Dolly came with a gift – engagement rings on her collar!

Wanting a Halloween masquerade wedding, the couple chose black and silver as their colors and incorporated this into all aspects of the wedding which was coordinated by Edward’s niece, Mandy Weinhusen. Only one element of the wedding departed the black and silver theme – a delightful rainbow butterfly cake made by a family friend.

Singer, Angela Bell, performed “Come Away With Me” by Nora Jones as the happy couple walked down the aisle to say their vows in front of a gorgeous candle light display.

Their nephews and nieces led the way down the aisle, introducing the grooms to the wedding guests. Brian’s best friend, Bruce Hebert, officiated the ceremony.

“The goal was to have fun, celebrating a wedding of 2 people, in the presence of cherished family and friends, where love wins,” shares Brian.
